On Thursday, January 28th, at 6:00 p.m., the Griffin Regional Educational Service Agency will conduct the GA Alternative Preparation Program for Educational Leadership Certification (APEL) Information Session “Virtually” from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Griffin RESA’s Georgia Alternative Preparation for Educational Leadership Program (APEL) is scheduled to begin in July 2021. APEL will offer a one-year job embedded pathway for candidates seeking Tier I or Tier II Leadership certification. This program is designed for educators with a Master’s degree or higher who are looking for leadership certification-only (non-degree). APEL is designed to instruct, guide, and support employed leaders helping them build the confidence, skills, and presence needed to lead.
System leaders will discuss the need for great educational leaders and a deep leadership bench for our fast-growing region. Griffin RESA staff will share: (1) Program Entry Requirements, (2) Application & Enrollment Details, (3) Program of Study for Tier I & Tier II, and (4) Payroll Deduction Process.
There is “No Cost” for the information session but registration is required and can be completed online by visiting the Griffin RESA website at www.griffinresa.net. By Noon on the day of the event, all registered participants will receive an event schedule with all the Zoom information and materials needed for the event.
