Important Notice Regarding Form 1095-C Availability
Due to new legislation passed at the end of 2024, employers classified as Applicable Large Employers (ALEs) are no longer required to distribute Form 1095-C to all employees automatically. Instead, these forms will be provided only upon direct request.
Form 1095-C is not required for individual tax reporting purposes, and employees do not need to submit this form when filing their taxes. However, if you wish to receive a copy of your Form 1095-C, you may request one by contacting Christina Crane.
Lamar County Schools is committed to compliance with all applicable regulations, and this notice serves as a clear, conspicuous, and accessible means of informing employees of their right to request a copy of their form. While the IRS has not provided specific guidance on what qualifies as “clear, conspicuous, and accessible,” we are making a good-faith effort to meet these standards.
